I like to change out the book ledges and select seasonal books to showcase. It makes the selection easier for the girls and Mum hack, only put the ones out that you like to read! Is there anything better then reading a holiday book by twinkling lights?

Our copy of Night Before Christmas has been passed down and was originally the girls Grandpa’s book. My husband has fond memories of family members acting out scenes from the book as a child. We now read it almost nightly but wait for the theatrical version until Christmas Eve!

Christmas is Coming is new to us this holiday season and is a wonderful take on the advent calendar. A perfect way to find some new traditions!

The magic of Christmas can be found in the pages of The Last Stop On The Reindeer Express. The illustrations are gorgeous with doors and peek-through holes.
And last but certainly not least, Stick Man by Julia Donaldson. Oh gosh, is this a favorite of ours. Not a typical holiday book but a fun and surprise ending!
