Gifts for the kids, women, and men in your life.
Motherhood has turned me into a holiday loving fanatic. It probably stems from wanting to create lasting memories for my girls. So for me, Valentine’s Day is a fun one. Celebrating love with the ones I love most with a few small gifts.
for kids
We typically get each girl a book, new pair of pajamas, an accessory, and what they really want, a little candy! Here a few items that I thought were so cute but not overly theme-driven.
Ryan and I don’t give each other gifts for Valentine’s Day but if we were to, I’m sure a few of these ideas would make us feel loved! They would also make excellent Galentine’s Day gifts for your favorite girlfriends.
For women
Skip the flowers and go ahead and gift a house plant and planter. It will (hopefully) last longer than flowers and adding plants to your home has been known to boost mood! If you like a little whimsy, the bust is an amazing planter!
Self-care. It is exactly as it sounds, caring for your self. As a caretaker by nature, my needs are last on the list and my goal has been to be better at this. These gifts are for those that need to take a little me time.
for men
This list was the hardest to make but if I think about what Ryan is loving now it is making bread for loved ones (his dutch oven bread is amazing), these uggs (who wears real shoes anymore), and casual clothes since he’s no longer going into the office. Oh, and a diffuser because he’s left a candle burning one to many times!
for family
Last but certainly not least, skip all the gifts and get one for the whole family. I love these scratch-off adventures from The Adventure Challenge. I went ahead and picked up this one, The Adventure Challenge Family Edition because the idea of creating a shared experience is what love is all about!
